Assistance in the preparation of different models for yield estimation based on environmental factors

Sharing information regarding different models and statistical tools used for forecasting the pests and diseases.

Assistance in project execution and project managementinformation and results as per the project requirements

To develop weather-based effective farm operation & to study crop weather relationship in all major crops and forecast yield

To develop weather-based agro advisories to sustain crop production by utilizing various weather forecasts and climatic forecasts

To develop crop growth simulation model for assessing/obtaining potential yield in various agro-climatic zones of the Gujarat state

To monitor droughts on crop wise as well as area wise for effective drought management & to prepare crop weather calendars for ease of farmers

To delineate the agro-climatic zone for defining agro climatic analogues so as to make an effective and fast transfer of technology for sustainable development of agriculture
