Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing systematic test plans. You will collaborate with software developers and project supports to determine project scope and requirements. Testing Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the QA Lead to define the overall testing strategy, test plans, and test cases. Help identify test scenarios and prioritize testing efforts. Test Execution and Defect Management: Execute test cases, analyze test results, and report defects using appropriate defect tracking tools. Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues. Test Automation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks. Execute automated tests and analyze results. Test Documentation: Assist in documenting test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports. Ensure that testing activities adhere to established standards and processes. Test Environment Setup: Help set up and maintain test environments, including software and hardware configurations, databases, and test data. Team Coordination and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior QA team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as development and product management, to ensure effective communication and alignment. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing activities. Contribute to the implementation of best practices and quality assurance standards. Quality Metrics and Reporting: Assist in gathering and analyzing testing metrics to assess the quality of software releases. Prepare and present reports on testing progress, defects, and overall product quality. Test Environment Management: Coordinate with infrastructure teams to manage test environments, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of required systems and tools. Test Coverage and Risk Assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize areas of the software that require testing based on the project s requirements, complexity, and associated risks. Technical Competency Team lead experience having Cypress expertise, Client facing experience, team handling, and complete knowledge on QA process. Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing. Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail). Experience in designing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative testing solutions. Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus. Functional Competency Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts. Flexibility, energy, and ability to work well with others in a cross functional environment. Should be able to learn and upskill in new technologies. Leadership capabilities to guide and mentor junior team members Being a team player can deliver in a high pressure and high demanding environment
