Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
- Conducting proactive research to analyse security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further security enhancement
- Develop technical solutions and improve available security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
- Experience in building and maintaining security systems
- Interest in ethical hacking and the ability to work in multiple programming languages
- Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
