Job Summary
  • Develops new business within geographic territory & assigned clients
  • Develops strategies and implements plans to grow profitable sales
  • Follows up diligently on leads received from other areas of the organization
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with multiple customer departments (purchasing, research, engineering, piloting/process & production.)
  • Achieves annual sales and gross margin targets; operates within expense budget guidelines & policies
  • Identify new key accounts, distributor/channel partners and direct trade opportunities
  • Adheres to Leads management process and closure targets
  • Responsible for Account Receivables/Collection targets for the area
  • Communicates effectively with customers
  • Submission of prescribed sales reports and monthly forecasts.
  • Must be results orientated; assertive and self-motivated, and possess strong organizational skills to be able to achieve goals consistently
  • Must possess professional selling and presentation skills to be able to influence multiple levels at customers organization
  • Must possess the technical aptitude to be able to grasp complex product applications.
  • Must have excellent negotiation skills to close sales and meet gross profit targets

Qualification :
  • Graduate in Life Science. Post Graduate degree in Life Science and MBA shall be preferred
  • Track record of achievement in Sales, Marketing and Business Development roles
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to handle customers successfully during challenging situations.
  • Great personal initiative, sense of humour, and self-motivation.
  • Flexibility in work hours; and exceptional time management and organizational skills.
