Senior Quality Analyst Automation Testing

Location: Kolkata, India

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Analyst to lead both manual and automated testing initiatives for our software products. Based in Kolkata, this role involves collaborating closely with development, product, and UX teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing using industry-standard tools.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Provide detailed test coverage reports, defect analysis, and overall application quality insights.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Perform regression testing to validate that new code changes don t impact existing functionality.
  • Execute performance testing to ensure system scalability and responsiveness.
  • Assess and test for security flaws, including validation of data security and database integrity.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve UI, UX, and overall application performance.
  • Continuously enhance test processes, methodologies, and automation frameworks.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends, testing tools, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and concepts.
  • Knowledge of data security standards and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail with excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Required :
