About the Role
We re looking for a Data Engineer with 3 4 years of experience to join our Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse team. In this role, you'll be responsible for building robust data pipelines, designing scalable data models, and supporting analytics and reporting capabilities.
You will work with modern tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake, and help deliver reliable, performant data infrastructure for internal and client-facing initiatives.
What You ll Do
ETL/ELT Development
- Build and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent.
- Ingest and consolidate data from multiple sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
Data Modeling & Warehousing
- Design and implement relational and dimensional models suited for business reporting.
- Work with databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres, or SQL Server.
SQL & Database Engineering
- Write performant SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data transformation.
- Implement complex joins and aggregations for analytical workloads.
BI & Visualization Support
- Collaborate with business users to support reporting in Power BI or Tableau.
- Enable data-driven decisions through accessible and accurate data models.
Performance & Data Quality
- Monitor pipeline jobs for failures, performance issues, and delays.
- Apply data validation checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data.
What We re Looking For
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with strong skills in ETL/ELT, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and tools like:
- Azure Data Factory
- Databricks
- SQL Server, Postgres, Redshift, or Snowflake
- Basic understanding of Python for scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with file formats like JSON, Parquet, and CSV.
- Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI (nice to have).
