Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned UX/UI Lead to own and elevate the user experience across CIMET's digital platforms. You ll lead the design function, creating visually compelling, user-centric, and conversion-focused experiences while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive web and mobile interfaces. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends creative design with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership
    • Lead the design vision and UX strategy across web and mobile platforms.
    • Own the entire design lifecycle from concept to final implementation.
    • Translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences.
    • Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components.
  • UX/UI Design Execution
    • Design wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and user flows using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
    • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to ensure smooth handoff and execution.
    • Conduct user research, usability testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) analysis to inform design decisions.
    • Design for accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring compliance with WCAG guidelines.
  • Development Collaboration & Support
    • Work closely with developers to implement responsive, scalable designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks.
    • Support front-end implementation and help troubleshoot UI/UX issues during development cycles.
    • Create low- and high-fidelity designs that support componentization and modularity.
  • Product & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to align business goals with user needs.
    • Lead discussions to present and justify design choices to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Guide the team in defining user task flows, storyboards, sitemaps, and interactive journeys.
    • Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including team leadership or mentorship.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
  • Solid knowledge of web design technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, REST APIs.
  • Experience in CRO strategy and optimization with an analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility design and implementation (WCAG).
  • Understanding of UI design patterns and responsive frameworks.
