Job brief

  • As the Product Engineering Manager, you will Lead and Build an engineering team,
  • You will manage product engineering, release and deployment of quality product following best practices
  • You will work closely with the Product and Business Teams and translate the business and product vision into engineering output
  • You will also play an integral role in the evolution of the architecture and product roadmaps in the rapidly growing product suite
  • You will be Responsible and Accountable for the Delivery and goals of the Engineering team

You will

  • Code - Hands on ability to code is a must.
  • Implementing best practice engineering methods
  • Be responsible for key technical and product decisions
  • Work closely with Product Teams and Business Teams and help provide relevant inputs from the Engineering team.
  • Lead the Engineering team to ship high-quality software on predictable schedules.
  • Partner closely with the PMO and Product teams to scope out releases and deliver high quality output
  • Own the recruitment and active training of engineering resources across levels
  • Coordinate and direct execution, detailing plans to accomplish goals in collaboration with the PMO
  • Delegate and ensure delivery from the team


You must have

  • Demonstrable experience (of at least 8 years) as a developer on Python/Javascript frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of building web applications using Python, React, PostgreSQL and MongoDB and cloud technologies
  • Demonstrable experience in Agile processes and methods
  • Proficiency Javascript and exposure to front end frameworks such as ReactJS
  • Demonstrated ability to actively and effectively manage teams of various sizes
  • A deep understanding of how software is built and deployed
  • Passion for working in finance domain and disrupting traditional workflows that are inefficient and lack transparency
  • Demonstrated Leadership, Decision-Making skills
