IT and Systems Executive

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT and Systems Executive with at least 2 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure. The role involves working with Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Server environments, and virtualization technologies, with an Oracle Certification (OCP) considered an advantage. Key Responsibilities:

System Installation & Configuration:

• Install, configure, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9) systems, including networking and Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) environments.
• Administer Microsoft Server 2019/2022, including IIS, domain controllers, Network Load Balancing (NLB), staging servers, FTP, and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Install and configure Oracle databases on Linux systems.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Perform troubleshooting, system optimization, and database maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor, enhance server security, and optimize network configurations for better performance.

Updates & Disaster Recovery:

• Implement regular updates, backups, and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, procedures, and system changes.
• Generate detailed reports on system performance, security, and updates.

Skills and Requirements:

Certifications:

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) on RHEL 8/9.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) (preferred but not mandatory).
• Microsoft certifications in related technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM and Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database installation and maintenance on Linux systems.

Additional Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and system optimization skills.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
• Understanding of server security practices and best practices for disaster recovery.
