Job Profile:

Join a leading product-based MNC as an Application Support Engineer to monitor and manage functional support incidents for our production systems. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, handling user queries, coordinating with development teams, and supporting release management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage all functional support incidents, requests, and queries addressed to the Global Support Team in production
  • Track alert emails and take timely action
  • Follow defined process flows for incident and request management
  • Handle user code registration requests and data provision tasks
  • Perform primary analysis to respond to user queries and provide root cause analysis
  • Liaise directly with users, development teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues or gather information
  • Coordinate release management activities, including tracking releases and data patches
  • Send notifications to users regarding application restrictions during updates, maintenance, or program releases
  • Maintain daily log sheets and ensure smooth shift hand-overs
  • Document standard operating procedures and provide support during UAT and training sessions
  • Adhere to process timelines and quality standards consistently
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the international shipping industry and MOL-IT software applications, standards, and guidelines
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in functional application support
  • Strong exposure to SQL and database query handling
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualification :
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Experience Required :

Minimum 3 Years
