Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer with a strong background in building enterprise-level custom portals and complex web applications. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical expertise in WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and a passion for creating scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and efficient web applications using custom PHP and MySQL.
- Design and implement modular, maintainable code leveraging Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Build and maintain custom WordPress websites and complex portals beyond typical CMS usage.
- Develop and customize WooCommerce plugins and other WordPress extensions.
- Manage codebase efficiently using version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Utilize jQuery for dynamic client-side scripting and interactive features.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services seamlessly into applications.
- Deploy and manage web applications on cloud servers, demonstrating knowledge of hosting protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clearly communicating technical concepts and project requirements.
- Apply strong logical and analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Proven track record of developing enterprise-level custom portals and complex WordPress solutions.
- Deep knowledge of WooCommerce and plugin development/customization.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, jQuery, APIs, and version control systems.
