Job Title: Senior Design Engineer Utility

Function: Utility System Design for Pharmaceutical Industries

Location: Andheri, Mumbai (Head Office)

Reporting To: Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer Utility to lead the design of utility systems for pharmaceutical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, an in-depth understanding of pharma standards, and the ability to manage projects independently while maintaining excellent client relations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years in utility system design, preferably within pharmaceutical or related industries

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly understand pharmaceutical layouts, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform utility load calculations, select user points, and estimate consumption independently.
  • Design and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) for utility generation systems such as steam, compressed air, and water.
  • Prepare detailed BOQs for piping systems including steam, compressed air, soft water, chilled water, and drain water pipelines.
  • Deliver project designs on schedule, ensuring alignment with client requirements and expectations.
  • Visit project sites as needed for discussions and coordination with clients and consultants.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of ASME and ISO standards relevant to utility piping design.
  • Ability to work independently, managing design tasks and project deliverables effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.

Qualification :
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Required :

Minimum 8 Years
