Quality Assurance Engineer Job in Fortive

In this role you will:
Supporting the development of new products and modifications to meet all requirements including, but not limited to product performance, quality, and superior user experience.
Participate in discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when testing new and migrating existing applications, software, and services.
Develop and execute detailed test plans required to ensure product quality.
Continuous improvement of UI for SaaS website including mobile applications.
Validate software/firmware updates to ensure quality release.
Review feedback from customers to improve QA plans to improve customer satisfaction.
Based on the project needs, should be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with people or work independently.

On your first day, we ll expect that you ll have:
3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance or Test engineer.
Bachelor s degree in related field preferred.
Experience with working with firmware and embedded systems.
Experience with full product life cycle; from product release through post-release sustainment.
Excellent team and communication skills.
Experience preforming basic electrical tests.
Cloud and IoT experience a plus.
