Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President Sales to lead our sales vertical in Delhi. This senior leadership role will focus on developing robust sales strategies, driving sustained business growth, and expanding our client base across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in equities, mutual funds, PMS, and alternative investments, along with a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and managing relationships with HNI and UHNI clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute innovative sales and business development strategies to drive growth and exceed sales targets.
- Lead recruitment and team building efforts for sales professionals, including Branch Managers and Area Heads, to scale the business effectively.
- Own the profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities of the sales vertical aligned with strategic plans.
Business Development & Client Management
- Expand business reach through both direct and indirect channels.
- Build and manage high-net-worth individual (HNI) and ultra-high-net-worth individual (UHNI) client relationships directly.
- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and cultivate long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership & Motivation
- Inspire, mentor, and coach the sales team to deliver exceptional performance and achieve business goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-energy team culture focused on excellence and results.
Product Expertise & Market Positioning
- Provide deep knowledge of equities, mutual funds, PMS, and alternative investments to clients and the sales team.
- Articulate unique product differentiators and competitive positioning effectively.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to present, negotiate, and influence key decisions.
- Communicate complex sales strategies and business insights clearly and persuasively.
Core Requirements
- Proven leadership experience with at least 10 years in sales, preferably as head of sales or in a senior sales leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and manage high-performing teams with a self-driven approach.
- Deep business acumen and industry expertise in financial products and wealth management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Ability to lead the sales process from planning through to successful closure.
- Strong negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable sales solutions.
