Current Offerings of Technology Department:

• Designing scalable and conversion-friendly eCommerce platforms using headless architecture.
• Developing Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) to enhance user experience.
• Building distributor B2B portals.
• Migrating legacy systems to enhance conversions while preserving customer, product data, and SEO benefits.

What You ll Do:

• Design and develop customer-focused solutions on the Shopify platform.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager (PM) to discuss functionality, requirements, and technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and develop scalable solutions to meet customer expectations.
• Configure Shopify instances based on client-specific eCommerce needs.
• Create high-level technical design documentation for clarity and consistency.
• Ensure both new and legacy features/apps meet high-quality standards.
• Work collaboratively within a small team to deliver high-quality, scalable products.
• Follow agile development processes, with the flexibility to adapt and make changes as required.

Requirements:

1) Qualifications:

• Strong background in the eCommerce environment.
• Good UX/UI skills with experience in developing front-ends from provided Sketch or Photoshop designs.
• Expertise in Shopify Plus and Shopify Liquid template language.
• Experience working with Shopify Admin API and Storefront API.
• Familiarity with Shopify instance management and configuration.
• Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Solid understanding of website performance optimization.
• Experience in writing unit tests and testing your own code.
• Hands-on experience with React, or solid knowledge of AJAX or JQuery is a plus.

2) Skills & Attributes:

• Awareness of Marketing Events, Discounts, Gift Cards, and their configurations in Shopify.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communicator, able to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing priorities.
