Job Summary Function Research & Development - Jaipur Pay Band E4 to M2 Role Power electronic expert leading the On-board charger developments, with end to end responsibility for the complete product lifecycle: concept, specification, development and validation. In-depth knowledge of automotive EV chargers both HW and SW. A qualified electrical engineer with sound knowledge of automotive charger topologies and design, functional safety implementation as well as battery charging strategies. A purpose driven role for you Lead the development of on-board charger unit based on the vehicle specification. Lead the definition of on-board charger roadmap, strategy and process. Support planning and execution of DVP for the charger On-board/off board Charger and RCA on failures. Manage and lead reuse of existing platforms and design resources to help reduce total development time and investments. Manage and lead reuse of existing platforms and design resources to help reduce total development time and investments. Academic Qualification & Experience B.Tech, M.Tech or PhD in Electrical Eng. Technical Skills/Knowledge Power electronics application design, analysis and simulation with MOSFET and IGBT. Converter design with various topologies (Isolated/Non isolated). Gate drivers, PWM controllers, power supply controller with CC, CV & CP control strategy. Battery charging algorithms & CAN, SPI,I2C Communication Project, process and requirements management. Magnetics Design as per topology selection, sound knowledge various type of core & selection parameters. Embedded design for power electronics, analog and mixed circuit design. Sound knowledge of schematics and PCB layout design. PCB Stack Formation and Calculation Gerber generation and Fabrication know how PCBA process understanding PCBA board bring up and basic testing ISO 26262 and HW implementation IEC/EN/AIS/UL/AIS regulations. Design for compliance with EMI/EMC and ESD regulations. Environmental, thermal and endurance testing for electronic components validation. HV power electronics for automotive. MATLAB, pSIM and Simulink modelling experience and capability. Altium or similar design experience. Knowledge of PLM will be an added advantage. DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA analysis.
