Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary : The Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing industrial automation projects from conception through to completion. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, designing automation solutions using Siemens products, and overseeing the installation and commissioning of these solutions. The candidate must have a strong background in industrial automation, in-depth knowledge of Siemens automation products, and excellent project management skills.

Required Qualifications : BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics

Experience : 5-7 years

Responsibilities

• Oversee site services and commissioning activities, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and overall project management processes.
• Delegate tasks effectively within the team to optimize productivity.
• Lead and manage teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Provide comprehensive service and site support to both internal teams and external clients.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure smooth project progression and resolve any issues.
• Handle Kick Off Meetings (KOM) to align project objectives and outcomes.
• Manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.

Working Conditions

This role may require travel to client sites, including industrial and manufacturing facilities. The Project Engineer must be able to work in a variety of settings, including office environments and on-site locations. Safety precautions must and will be taken seriously, especially when working in industrial settings.
