Key Responsibilities/Skills:
Must have strong Magik development skills. Strong knowledge of the Smallworld product suite and the core data model of the utilities (PNI/EO/GDO). Should have knowledge of the Smallworld configuration /installation/setup and Upgrades to 5.X versions. Preferably knowledge on the new Kubernetes solution (setup and installation) used by Smallworld 5.2 and above. Should have experience in UI application development and custom tools in Magik language. Must have hands-on experience on the Smallworld Integration and web-based clients (GSS/NIG/EO WEB/GDO WEB / GSA/GSA Lite) Should have worked in design workshops/requirement gatherings/training and technical solutions for global customers in all utilities (Telecom /Gas/Electric) Must have knowledge of the software development and upgrade lifecycle for GIS and Smallworld products and have knowledge in project management-based tools and development and code configuration tools. Must have knowledge of Data Migration strategy and solutions for data migration to or from Smallworld VMDS. Good problem solving, sound interpersonal, team working, and analytical skills Desired Candidate Profile
