Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager with a solid technical background in Node.js, Golang, or Java. The ideal candidate is a skilled coder, capable of leading engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software. You ll manage squads independently, drive cloud-native and microservices-based development, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet business goals. Experience with AWS is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, enforce coding standards, and encourage best practices.

2. Full Stack Development

• Actively contribute to development using ReactJS, Golang, or Java.
• Demonstrate hands-on technical leadership through coding, design, and code reviews.

3. Architecture & Design

• Design and implement scalable microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance across distributed systems.

4. Squad Management

• Independently lead squads, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to align tech execution with business priorities.
• Translate requirements into effective engineering solutions.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay ahead of technology trends and continuously improve engineering practices.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and methodologies as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong engineering background with proven leadership in software development roles.
• Expertise in Node.js, Golang, or Java with hands-on coding experience.
• Deep understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools.
• Prior experience managing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• AWS certifications are a strong plus.
• Proven ability to deliver complex and scalable software products.
