React JS Developer
Location: Kolkata, West Bengal
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced React JS Developer to join our team in Kolkata. This is a high-impact role focused on building intuitive and high-performance user interfaces. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with expertise in ReactJS and related modern front-end technologies, capable of leading development efforts and mentoring a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new, scalable, and responsive user-facing features using React.js and Next.js
  • Build and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across devices and browsers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Backend for seamless delivery
  • Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best coding practices and standards
  • Conduct and participate in peer code reviews
  • Manage small development teams and client deliverables effectively
  • Stay up-to-date with latest trends in front-end development and React ecosystem
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation including SRS, SDD, architecture diagrams, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, and core JavaScript principles
  • In-depth understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with modern React workflows like Redux, Context API, etc.
  • Proficiency with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and testing libraries such as Jest, Mocha
  • Experience with SSR (Server Side Rendering) frameworks (e.g. Next.js, Gatsby)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and TypeScript
  • Knowledge of React Native is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Experience with UI/UX design and debugging browser rendering issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:

  • Experience with cloud architecture planning and system diagramming
  • Knowledge of performance testing frameworks
  • Exposure to technical documentation writing
