Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of HSE manual, operation control procedures (OCPs), check list and format to reduce the risk of illness, injury, or damage.
2. Must be able to carry out hazard identification and risk assessment.
3. Must be able to carry out Aspect Impact for project site.
4. Perform daily site walk for safety.
5. Conduct site safety Induction for all site employees /new joinee.
6. Chair the safety meetings with client and subcontractors.
7. Perform and maintained the record of daily tool box meeting with site employee.
8. Identify and measure potential hazards in the workplace.
9. Determine dangers of handling certain toxic chemicals.
10. Co- ordination with the subcontractor/ customers safety officer.
11. Conduct site safety programs and maintained the records.
12. Must be able to investigate all incidents/Near misses and report to HO.
13. Advise workers on the proper use of personal protection equipment (PPE).
14. Must have computer knowledge.
15. Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use and promotes safe practices at the job site
16. Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations
17. Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations
18. Responds to clients safety concerns.
Job Purpose:
Developing and executing health and safety plans at Sites
Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
Deliverables:
Annual Support in preparation of HSE AOP & Budget
Quarterly Review of Budget v/s Actuals
Monthly MIS
Weekly MIS
Necessary Education Qualifications:Diploma in Engineering/Graduate
Professional Qualifications:Diploma-Industrial Occupational Health and Safety
