Job Summary

Strategy, Planning and Management

Communicate, engage and interact with Board of Directors, CEO, COO and Executive Leadership Team.

Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to short, and long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.

Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.

Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information. Evaluate departments and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing working efficiency.

Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company s Vision and Mission and Expansion plans.

Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by senior leadership team.

Engage consultants, auditors and investors.

Recruit, interview and hire finance and accounting staff as required.

Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting

Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division and weekly cash flow by division.

Review and analyse monthly financial results and provide recommendations for Customer, Product, Service & Segment Profitability.

Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual operating budget.

Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Compliance

Supervise the accounts department to ensure proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software. Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise financial staff.

Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial procedures.

Oversee the preparation and communication of weekly, monthly and annual financial statements.

Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.

Work with Human Resources to ensure appropriate legal compliance.


Financial Management

Structuring an Ideal Finance function.

Planning and Management of Cash flow process.

Management of Strategic investments and Assets.

Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection process

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified C.A / MBA from top 10 business school.

Master s Degree in Finance.

Minimum of 5 years post experience as a Finance Controller /Head Finance in mid-size organizations (INR 100 crore +)

Overall 10 + years experience in Complex Accounting Reconciliations or Finance Functions.

Good knowledge of Ms-Excel, power point, ERP/Tally Accounting Software.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence and ability to motivate staff.

Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Significant working experience with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues.
