English Teacher

We are looking for an English teacher who is fluent in English and Armenian.

Responsibilities

• Organize creative and fun arts/craft, language, math, and fine/gross motor skills development activities
• Develop lesson plans and implement age appropriate methodologies for teaching letters, numbers, social sciences, etc
• Practice with children poetry recitation and children s songs
• Visually observe and care for children at all times
• Escort children to restroom, help children to eat, dress up after nap, and set up sleeping cots for nap time
• Maintain clean and neat classrooms
• Other duties as assign

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Armenian
• Completed 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a licensed Child Care Center or Preschool
• Have a record of Live Scan fingerprint for state licensed facilities
• Experience to effectively communicate with children of ages 2-6 years old.
• Demonstrated skills in developing children s cognitive and language/verbal skills through playful activities
