Job Summary
Position Summary: Litera is looking for a hands-on DevOps Manager, as Manager of DevOps, your role is to provide leadership and expertise on how we build, deploy and deliver software using the right tools and sound architectural solutions for internal and externally hosted applications on desktops, web servers and cloud services. The Manager of DevOps also would monitor, analyze, and predict trends for system performance, capacity, efficiency, and reliability and recommend enhancements to better meet client SLAs and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers. Manage resource allocations, performance reviews and career development
Oversee and coordinate resources and processes required to build, deploy and deliver new or maintain existing software products
Responsible for the continuous and on-time delivery of application releases supporting mission critical services
Support and improve our tools for continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). You can demonstrate measurable improvements in our delivery pipelines
Responsible for navigating cloud solutions, on premise solutions and hybrid solutions
Responsible for infrastructure as code (IaC) tooling
Build automated release pipelines that package, test and deploy code
Build out and maintain a suitable tracking dashboards and metrics
Collaborate with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Engineering Managers, Product Managers and Engineers across the organization to deliver a comprehensive solution
Qualifications:
10 + years of total experience in IT industry
4-5 years of experience Build/Release and DevOps combined for Saas/Web/Desktop applications
3+ years of experience in a leadership role
4-5 years working with CI / CD within Azure / AWS
Experience in Kubernetes, Swarm and Docker will be preferred
Experience in Jenkins or Bamboo is must
Experience in working with Linux (Centos/Ubuntu)
Experience with configuration and management tools (i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Salt)
Experience in architecting, maintaining, and streamlining our automated build and release pipeline from code compilation, automated testing, to deploying releases to multiple environments
You should be able to drive adoption of CI/CD, deployment automation, and release engineering standard methodologies
Detail oriented and great problem solver
Experience leading DevOps Engineers in an Agile environment
Comfortable giving feedback to team members and handling personal situations
Comfortable leading, making decisions, solving problems, and organizing work for a team
Excellent at multi-tasking and able to handle competing priorities
