Role Overview

As an Area General Manager (AGM) Franchise Sales, you will lead the expansion of Livspace s franchise network across key territories. You ll be responsible for identifying high-potential markets, generating leads, onboarding franchise partners, and ensuring seamless go-live operations. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong business acumen, relationship-building, and operational execution skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion & Strategy
    • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to identify high-growth potential cities for franchise development.
    • Conduct thorough market research using building material data and competitor intelligence.
    • Define and execute regional expansion strategies aligned with Livspace s goals.
  • Lead Generation & Partner Engagement
    • Identify and evaluate prospective franchise partners that meet Livspace s brand and operational standards.
    • Oversee outreach and schedule meetings with qualified prospects in target regions.
    • Personally pitch the Livspace franchise model and convert high-potential leads.
  • Territory Visits & Stakeholder Communication
    • Conduct regular area visits to engage local stakeholders and assess market readiness.
    • Build strong relationships with prospective partners through direct interaction and trust-building.
  • Franchise Conversion & Onboarding
    • Lead the onboarding process from partner selection to operational go-live.
    • Ensure timely execution of all franchise setup activities including training, branding, and documentation.
  • Performance Management & Reporting
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly franchise acquisition targets.
    • Monitor progress against KPIs and take corrective actions when needed.
    • Share regular reports with leadership on pipeline health, market insights, and expansion status.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA preferred

Experience:

  • 6 8 years of experience in business development, franchise operations, or sales
  • Proven success in lead generation, partner onboarding, and target-driven roles
  • Exposure to high-growth, fast-paced environments (startups, expansion-focused companies preferred)

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a strategic mindset
  • Comfortable with extensive travel to build partner relationships and scout markets
