Role Overview
As an Interior Designer Sales (Interior Consultant) at Livspace, you ll blend creativity with consultation to design dream homes that resonate with client lifestyles. You'll own the entire project lifecycle, from understanding client requirements and closing sales to delivering detailed design solutions and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
This is a client-facing, design-led sales role, ideal for professionals who are equally passionate about interiors, communication, and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Consultation
- Engage with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and space requirements.
- Create modular and interior design concepts aligned with client expectations.
- Use tools like AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and other design software for effective visual presentation.
- Project Ownership
- Own the end-to-end project lifecycle, from design ideation to execution coordination.
- Prepare and share detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
- Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, execution) and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
- Sales & Customer Experience
- Lead design meetings with a focus on building trust and guiding clients toward closure.
- Own the sales funnel drive timely sales closures through logical, consultative selling.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the project journey.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate or Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
Experience:
- 0 2 years of experience as an Interior Designer.
- Freshers with strong design fundamentals and excellent communication are welcome.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong in conceptual design: layout planning, style boards, and visual aesthetics.
- Proficient in technical detailing: material selection, execution drawings, installation knowledge.
- Familiar with modular design principles and planning.
- Basic understanding of civil work specifications and services coordination.
- Comfortable with design software (AutoCAD, PowerPoint, etc.)
Sales & Communication:
- Confident presenter with the ability to drive client decisions and close sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
