Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Process Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the basic and detailed engineering of utility systems such as pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, HVAC, tanks, and storage systems. This role involves end-to-end design responsibilities and offers the opportunity to work on high-impact energy projects across the chemical, refinery, petrochemical, and electrolysis industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic and detailed engineering for utility systems including pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, HVAC, and tanks/storage systems.
  • Develop and deliver key engineering documents such as:
    • Design Basis
    • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
    • Heat and Material Balances
    • Equipment Sizing and Specifications
    • Process Equipment Datasheets
    • Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
    • Pipeline Sizing Calculations
    • HAZOP Documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and project alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards.
  • Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL, etc.).

Qualification :
M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Experience Required :

3 to 7 Years
