Job Summary:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with 3-4 years of experience in test automation within CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service), Customer Experience (CX), or MarTech industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of cloud-based applications. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Test Strategy Execution: Develop and execute automation test strategies tailored for CPaaS, CX, and MarTech platforms.
• Testing Tools: Utilize tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, and Robot Framework for test automation.
• API Testing: Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar alternatives.
• CI/CD Integration: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, leveraging tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, Locust, or k6.
• Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Cloud Testing: Collaborate with cloud teams to validate deployments and ensure system reliability on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes for better efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Test Automation Experience: 3-4 years of experience in test automation within CPaaS, CX, or MarTech domains.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar test automation tools.
• API Testing: Proficient in API testing with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Programming: Solid experience in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Automation Frameworks: Understanding of test automation frameworks, BDD/TDD methodologies, and version control (Git).
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience in microservices testing.
• Agile Environment: Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• CI/CD Integration: Experience with integrating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Security Testing: Exposure to security testing and best practices in test automation.
• Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and knowledge of infrastructure automation.
