Job Summary

You are good at:

  • Collaborating with client, engineering, and sales team to conduct user research, to obtain an in-depth understanding of user requirements and behaviours
  • Translating product requirement them into user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Working closely with Client, Engineering and QA teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Build, mentor and lead a high-performing team of designers with a passion for developing others, you'll coach and encourage your team towards success
  • Collaborate with leaders in Engineering, Product Management, Content, UX Research teams to create innovative experiences, by leveraging your passion for brand, craft, and design quality
  • Bridge between design and engineering discussions, and enable efficient, high quality execution
  • Lead the overall design vision that enhances our business goals across the company
  • Be a strategic partner to the client, working closely with the Head of Product/Engineering, and define design strategy and roadmap
  • Have an understanding of product metrics and translate goals to the design teams
  • Create and share our design strategy through storytelling with great presentations skills
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Design software - Envision, Figma
  • Proficient in creating information architecture, user segments, user personas, task flow creation, card sorting, affinity mapping, customer journey mapping, etc.
  • High degree of ownership, with capability to deliver independently and on-time
  • Experienced and well versed in conducting different methods of research and usability testing

You will be responsible for (not limited to):

  • Maintaining a consultative relationship with the clients and from time to time work out of client location
  • Proactively looking for opportunities to improve the design
  • Scaling the design craft through coaching and mentoring teammates
  • Responsible for seeing the idea from the promise to final payoff
  • Conduct training and facilitation sessions in Design Thinking/ Service Design/ Experience Design/ Innovation

Your experience:

  • 8+ years in UX design experience
  • Experience in service-based companies like SaaS service, Agencies, Branding, User experience studios

Your academic qualifications:

  • Professional Design Education-Graduate/ Post Graduate in UX Design, Interaction Design, Communication or any other relevant field is a preference
