Job Description

As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for conducting manual and automation testing, identifying defects, and ensuring seamless product functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Manual & Automation Testing

• Perform functional, integration, and exploratory testing to validate application performance.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Implement and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent tools.
• Perform regression testing and ensure test coverage for new and existing features.

Defect Tracking & API Testing

• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect tracking tools.
• Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.

Collaboration & Agile Methodology

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Continuous Improvement

• Enhance test automation coverage and optimize test execution time.
• Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications.

Technical Skills:

• Manual Testing: Strong expertise in functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Automation Testing: Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, Java, or equivalent scripting languages.
• API Testing: Experience with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Defect Tracking: Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Agile Development: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Soft Skills:
