Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Inspection

  • Operate Flexi Test Machines and generate G-codes for parts.
  • Inspect parts for burn marks and conduct further analysis as needed.

Etching & Burn Analysis

  • Perform etching processes to detect burn marks on components.

Metallurgical Testing

  • Conduct metallurgical tests on incoming materials in line with inspection plans and group standards.

Chemical Testing

  • Execute chemical testing for incoming materials following defined procedures and standards.

Production Support

  • Support production by verifying laser marking depth and assisting with internal complaints and customer complaint investigations.
  • Participate in field failure part analysis related to metallurgical issues.

Equipment Verification & Calibration

  • Perform daily plausibility tests for hardness testers and spectrometers.
  • Coordinate and maintain records of calibration activities.

Continuous Improvement & Training

  • Take part in improvement projects and training programs to enhance processes and skills.

Qualifications

Education:

Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy/Materials Science preferred)

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality testing role in the manufacturing or automotive industry.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
