Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Inspection
- Operate Flexi Test Machines and generate G-codes for parts.
- Inspect parts for burn marks and conduct further analysis as needed.
Etching & Burn Analysis
- Perform etching processes to detect burn marks on components.
Metallurgical Testing
- Conduct metallurgical tests on incoming materials in line with inspection plans and group standards.
Chemical Testing
- Execute chemical testing for incoming materials following defined procedures and standards.
Production Support
- Support production by verifying laser marking depth and assisting with internal complaints and customer complaint investigations.
- Participate in field failure part analysis related to metallurgical issues.
Equipment Verification & Calibration
- Perform daily plausibility tests for hardness testers and spectrometers.
- Coordinate and maintain records of calibration activities.
Continuous Improvement & Training
- Take part in improvement projects and training programs to enhance processes and skills.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy/Materials Science preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality testing role in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
