About the Role

We are seeking a Node.js Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in cloud-native environments and agile teams, with a strong passion for backend development and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust, secure, and scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, NestJS, and Fastify.
  • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with clean, maintainable code.
  • Take full ownership of assigned features and deliver high-quality results that drive business outcomes.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Write batch/cron jobs using Python or Shell scripting.
  • Work with RabbitMQ, BullMQ, or similar messaging/queueing tools for asynchronous task processing.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Participate in code reviews, PR processes, and maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2 5 years of professional backend development experience with Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of backend frameworks: Express.js, NestJS, and Fastify.
  • Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD automation, Git version control, and tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Working knowledge of RabbitMQ, BullMQ, or equivalent messaging systems.
  • Experience deploying and scaling applications on AWS or GCP.
  • Comfortable writing automation and batch scripts in Python or Bash/Shell.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger.
  • Basic understanding of front-end integration and CORS/security best practices.
