Role Overview
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Trainees to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh diploma graduates in mechanical or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on experience in quality control and inspection processes within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components using VMM (Video Measuring Machine) and other precision instruments to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Assist in new product development by providing feedback on design improvements, material selections, and quality compliance.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation for inspection processes, test protocols, and product evaluation reports, ensuring alignment with internal standards and industry regulations.
- Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) efforts by collecting production data and performing basic trend analysis to monitor quality and process stability.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying quality-related issues and providing data-driven insights.
- Participate in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities to evaluate the accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility of inspection equipment.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring products meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.
- Assist in revising or updating technical drawings as part of product changes or improvements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with VMM or other precision measurement tools is a plus (training will be provided if needed).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) for documentation and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
