About the Role

As a Central Project Lead based in New Delhi, you will take ownership of planning, managing, and delivering complex HVAC projects. This senior role demands a strong mix of technical proficiency, leadership, and project execution skills. You'll coordinate internal teams and vendors, optimize costs, and ensure timely delivery aligned with client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Feasibility & Planning
  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for HVAC projects.
  • Work closely with management to finalize project scope, budget, and timelines.
• Resource & Workforce Management
  • Strategically plan and allocate technical resources across active and upcoming projects.
  • Optimize deployment based on workload, skill sets, and project complexity.
• Vendor & Procurement Oversight
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to identify and assess OEM vendors.
  • Analyze vendor proposals based on cost-efficiency, performance, and lead time.
• Project Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track progress across multiple projects; prepare detailed timeline and budget summaries.
  • Highlight deviations and propose corrective action plans to leadership.
• Coordination & Issue Resolution
  • Act as a bridge between design, execution, and procurement teams.
  • Resolve bottlenecks proactively to ensure on-time project delivery.
• System Design & Technical Validation
  • Work with the Central Design team for equipment selection and HVAC system optimization.
  • Ensure system design meets technical, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.
• Energy Audit & Instrumentation
  • Operate and analyze data from:
  • Flue Gas Analyzer
  • Anemometer
  • Ultrasonic Water Flowmeter
  • Ultrasonic Steam Trap Leak Detector
  • Clamp-On Power Meter
  • Three-Phase Load Analyzer
• Compliance & Quality
  • Maintain compliance with safety, QA/QC standards, and regulatory codes throughout execution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in HVAC project planning, energy management, and execution.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, mechanical systems, and energy-saving technologies.
• Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience handling and interpreting data from audit instrumentation.
• Soft Skills & Behavior
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail with a bias for execution and ownership.
