JobResponsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and design strategy for management of material. Develop work systems and processes for smooth business operations. Define departmental goals. Prepare annual/monthly budget for material management.
- Recruit team members as per manpower requirement. Provide on job training . Identify training and development needs of team members. Provide guidance for improvement.
- Monitor the performance of team members. Conduct periodical review meetings. Identify areas of improvements. Take corrective measures for improvement.
- Policy for records related to material management. Provide reports to Management as per requirement.
- Manage stock taking activity periodically & reconciliation reports. Ensure proper utilization of material and avoid wastages. Decide the policy for shortage of material , identify material requirement and send material requisition to Purchase department.
- Decide the policy administrative support for stores management. Manage support staff, look after housekeeping and routine maintenance tasks.
- Monitar the stock minimum and maximum level as per management policy and purchase policy.
- Parodical MIS report to malmanagement on Inventory , Structural Steel . Also report on Scrap / Non movable item / obsolete items.
- Flash Report on material delivery without PO in expenses, theft / pilferage etc
- Item codification and classification in correct way
- Parodically physical verification of stock at site and Central Telemonitoring surprise check for presentation mechanism for thief / pilferages.
