Job Summary
We are looking to hire an accomplished Engineering Leader for an exciting and fun role to spearhead new compiler team focused on Embedded CPUs and Domain Specific Accelerators. We build world class compilers that realize the potential of Networking for a growing range of computational workloads, ranging from network processing, computer vision, deep learning, scientific computation, and self-driving cars to video games and virtual reality. We need you to hire, build and lead the team responsible for Embedded CPUs and Accelerator Compilers. This compilers will be key part of SW stack Networking, Drive Automotive platforms. The compilers will support C/C++ as well as Domain Specific Languages targeting Embedded CPUs and Accelerators and will be deployed in demanding high performance environment such as large scale data centers, power sensitive embedded platforms and safety critical self-driving automotive environments. Future generations of data centers and supercomputers will rely on these compilers to move extensive amounts of data across the network, accelerate complex computer vision workloads that power the AI algorithms in smart cities to robotics to self-driving cars. In this role you will be solving critical problems working alongside world-class engineering leaders with vision in Compiler and systems software, doing what you enjoy. What you will be doing:
Attracting, hiring and mentoring top talent to build a world class compiler team
Working with geographically distributed stakeholder organization to capture requirements, plan execution and deliver Compiler SW that meets business needs and time to market.
Providing supervisory mentorship and technical direction to a geographically distributed team of compiler development engineers, including planning, scheduling and execution of projects and activities.
Guiding the design and implementation of the Compiler Driver, Compiler Front-End and Compiler Back-End ensuring tight integration with industry-leading third-party compiler software.
Offering end-to-end stewardship for compiler product offerings, interacting with product managers, key customers and ISVs to ensure responsiveness to critical needs.
Defining the roadmap for the compiler product offerings, informed by customer needs and proactive innovation choices including evolutionary optimizations and programming language specification.
Working closely with multi-functional teams developing other related components to ensure language conformance, robustness, high-quality code generation and suitability for developing programs used in deep learning and safety-critical execution environments.
Establishing strong customer/partner relationships and trust through excellent execution and high quality software delivery.
What we need to see:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of production software development in Compiler or related SW with focus on Language Front-End or optimizing Back-End.
5+ years of technical lead/management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
A great teammate with proven leadership, hiring top talent and mentorship skills.
Demonstrated track record of success in achieving objectives under timelines and have led projects with consequential priorities.
Strong hands-on C++ programming skills with experience using industry standard C++ compilers and development frameworks such as LLVM.
Familiar with Embedded Processors, VLIW Architecture and DSPs.

Experience in developing SW for Data Center or Hyperscale.
Experience in developing SW for Embedded, Robotics, Safety-Critical environments.
