Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team at Stafi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP solutions to meet business requirements. You will work with various SAP modules to create custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of SAP systems. The position requires strong expertise in ABAP programming, debugging, and performance tuning to deliver high-quality solutions.
Experience Required
4 to 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development.
Experience with SAP modules and SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development: Develop and maintain custom SAP applications, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFs) within SAP systems using ABAP.
Performance Tuning: Perform performance tuning of ABAP programs and work on optimizing existing solutions to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug ABAP code and resolve performance issues, errors, and system malfunctions.
Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions between SAP and external systems using technologies like IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, and Web Services.
Collaboration: Collaborate with functional consultants, technical architects, and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Testing and Support: Write test cases, conduct unit testing, and assist in quality assurance to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Provide post-go-live support to address any issues.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to the design, development, and deployment of custom ABAP solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with ABAP programming, including ABAP Workbench, SAP Netweaver, and SAP HANA.
Expertise in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of SAP programs.
Familiarity with SAP modules like MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, and PP is preferred.
Experience with SAP enhancements (user-exits, BADI, BAPI) and SAP forms (Smart Forms, SAPscript).
Strong understanding of IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs for integration between SAP and external systems.
Familiarity with ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
SAP certifications related to ABAP or any SAP module are a plus.
