Job Description:

Strategic :

Plant upgradation works planning, execution on periodical basis.
Plan & work towards the target set by the management based on business needs.
Updated & aware of cGMP requirements.

Operational :

Must have electrical supervisory license from Electrical Inspectorate Karnataka.
Must have both Project & Maintenance experience related to plant Electricals related to Biotech facility related to Drug substance equipment (Microbial & Mammalian: Fermenters, Centrifuges, Homogenizer, HPLC columns, Cold rooms, Deep freezers, Clean room equipment, CIP & SIP systems, Bio-waste collection systems, etc.
Must have both Project & Maintenance experience related to plant Electricals related to Drug Product Injectable facility equipment (Injectable filling lines (With Isolators will be added advantage), Autoclaves, CIP/SIP skids, Compounding, Filling vessels, Packing lines, Cold rooms, Clean room equipment/accessories, etc.).
Must have both Project & Maintenance experience related to plant Electricals related to Electrical equipment like Transformer, DG set, AMF/ Synchronization system, AMF systems, UPS systems etc.
Project & Maintenance experience related to plant Electricals related to Utility equipment Including Operation & Maintenance of IBR boilers, Chillers, Air compressor, Clean utility system like water systems- Pretreatment RO, Purified water, Water for injection, Pure steam systems, Storage & Distribution systems, etc.
Project & Maintenance experience related to plant Electricals related to HVAC systems, BMS & EMS systems.
Coordinate with Technical consultants, Equipment manufacturers & User departments for finalizing the requirements. Aware of current improvements on equipment available in the market during selection.
Understand, Review, Approval of Equipment electrical load calculations, Plant layouts, Electrical SLD, Integrated drawings of all services etc. provided by Consultants & Equipment manufacturers.
Do value engineering on the design provided to ensure cost effective, efficient system is being designed & system friendly design. Familiar with electrical standards, Design & Fault calculations.
Familiar with Data & Voice networking system design.
Familiar with requirements of clean room panel detailing related to electrical requirements.
Finalization of specifications & preparation URS.
Aware of energy efficient system design & requirements.
Preparation of Project Budget, Reports & Schedule.
Attend to Project, Technical discussion meetings & follow up for work completion.
Able to visualize & plan the activity related to overall Project execution.
Review & Approval of Specifications, BOQ, Tender documents & Conditions.
Must be experienced in conducting Prequalification of vendors.
Review of offers & Preparation of Technical Bid Analysis for equipment/vendor selection.
Planning of work sequence at site by coordinating with all services during execution.
Coordination with equipment manufacturers, service engineers local & international companies.
Ability to independently handle & execute works at site.
Experienced to undertake FAT at equipment manufacturers site.
Aware of all electrical safety & GMP requirements/guidelines to be followed at site during execution.
Aware of electrical statutory guidelines & standards.
Must have worked in Projects from Ordering, Testing, Commissioning & Hand over stage.
Ability to execute activity related to DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, SAT & FAT protocol & reports.
Checking of quality, quantity & certification.
Good Leadership, Team building & Communication skills.
Familiar with electrical requirements & support other team members for Access control, Door interlock system, Date & Voice networking.
Installation & commissioning of Electrical requirements for Clean room panels.
Added advantage if able to handle Installation & Commissioning of Clean room panel system.
Familiar with electrical design & execution for Zero discharge ETP.
Operation & Maintenance Plant operation & Maintenance of above electrical & utility equipments.
Preparation of SOP, Preventive Maintenance schedule/planner, Documentation etc.
Exposure to regulatory & customer audits.
Knowledge of plant electrical safety & GMP requirements.
Liaison with statutory agencies related to BESCOM, Electrical Inspectorate, IBR boiler, etc.
Coordination with user departments & plan for Preventive/Breakdown maintenance.
Ensure smooth operation of plant & machinery to avoid breakdowns & production loss.
Plan for required spare parts inventory.
Man power & shift planning. |
Must be good in reporting & documentation.
Computer knowledge & AutoCAD experience will be added advantage.
