Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated MEP Engineer to join our team and ensure the successful execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on our projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring they meet the project s technical specifications, safety standards, and schedule. You will collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure the highest quality of work and efficient progress throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• MEP Installation & Supervision: Oversee the installation, inspection, and testing of MEP equipment, fittings, and systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and consultant requirements.
• Quality & Schedule Control: Ensure that MEP work is carried out according to approved drawings and within the designated timeframes, aligning with the overall construction program.
• Coordination & Execution: Coordinate with contractors and agencies to ensure that MEP work is executed efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality, speed, economy, and safety.
• Drawing Analysis & Feedback: Study and review project drawings and provide feedback or suggestions for improvement, if necessary.
• Material Management: Prepare bills for materials and services raised by contractors on-site, and raise requisitions for any additional materials needed.
• Site Supervision: Conduct daily site walk-throughs and closely monitor the progress of subcontractor work, ensuring it adheres to standards.
• Installation Methods & Sequence: Stay informed of best practices for installation methods and ensure the correct sequence of MEP work is followed on-site.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications related to MEP work and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Material Inspection: Inspect incoming MEP materials for quality and compliance with IS codes, BOQs, and project specifications.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Electrical & Fire Systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and Plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with IS codes and BOQs for MEP materials and construction standards.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Excellent site supervision and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to handle material requisitions and ensure timely procurement of necessary supplies.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 6 years of experience in MEP systems, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
