Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager/Manager Sales to drive sales and marketing activities across key market segments. Based in Delhi, this role requires you to play a pivotal part in implementing sales strategies, enhancing profitability, and establishing strong client relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Execution: Lead and implement sales strategies, ensuring timely course corrections to meet objectives and drive growth.
- Profitability & Viability: Take overall responsibility for the profitability of the sales operations, ensuring targets are met and resources are optimally utilized.
- Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer demands, and opportunities for new product launches.
- Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within key segments, such as Projects, Institutions, and Infrastructure. Drive inquiries and sales opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Brand Promotion: Develop and implement sales promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and drive marketing efforts.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key accounts, including top builders, contractors, distributors, RCC consultants, architects, and government authorities.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the specification and technical teams to secure brand approvals and support product specification in the developer segment.
- Complaint Resolution: Address client complaints and resolve issues by analyzing problems and providing effective solutions.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Plan and track sales activities weekly and monthly. Analyze performance reports, identify gaps, and strategize with leadership to optimize sales.
- Order Management: Oversee order booking and coordinate with the sales coordinator to ensure smooth processing of sales, receivables, and overall business growth.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-12 years in sales, preferably in building materials, waterproofing, or related industries.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand client needs and develop tailored techno-commercial proposals.
- Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor a team, ensuring efficient and effective sales operations.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to investigate issues and come up with actionable solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive brand growth.
