Role Overview: UX Designer

We re seeking a user-obsessed UX Designer to help us create seamless, impactful experiences across EconomicTimes.com s digital touchpoints. You ll work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, designers, and editors to solve complex UX problems for a high-traffic, content-rich platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate product and business goals into intuitive user experiences.
• Design wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Miro.
• Conduct and synthesize user research, usability tests, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and editorial to align on user needs.
• Use both qualitative and quantitative data to iterate on design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility and usability best practices across platforms.
• Advocate for design thinking and a user-first mindset within the organization.
• Stay updated with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 3 years of hands-on UX design experience in digital products.
• Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and modern usability practices.
• Experience designing for responsive and adaptive web/mobile platforms.
• Proven ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive interfaces.
• Experience with user research, A/B testing, and data-driven design decisions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills to convey design rationale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Prior experience working on content-heavy or media platforms is a significant plus.
• A portfolio showcasing real-world UX work across different platforms and use cases.
