Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager with 10 15 years of experience in business development and tender management within the engineering consultancy and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will drive growth initiatives, manage client relationships, and oversee tendering processes to ensure successful project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

• Establish and maintain relationships with government and private sector clients; schedule and conduct meetings.
• Plan, implement, and oversee new marketing and business growth initiatives.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events.
• Prepare competitive quotes, proposals, and strategic action plans.
• Keep senior management informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Tendering:

• Review and analyze tender documents, focusing on both technical and commercial aspects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, supervision, commercial, and legal for bid preparation.
• Evaluate CVs, prepare tender submissions, and manage all tendering activities to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
• Analyze BOQs, special conditions, and technical requirements thoroughly.
• Manage post-bid follow-up and respond to client queries promptly.
• Maintain organized tender documentation and records.
• Prioritize candidates with experience in tendering, bid submission, and contract management within engineering consultancy and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, PGDM, or MBA.

Experience:

• 10 15 years of relevant experience in business development and tender management.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Proven ability to manage complex tender processes and client relationships.
