Job Purpose:

The Territory Debt Recovery Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the collections and recovery function within the assigned territory. The role ensures business sustainability through effective and timely collection strategies, compliance with company policies, and by managing the performance of the on-ground collections team.

Key Responsibilities:

Managerial Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing collections team within the assigned territory.
• Monitor and review daily activities of collectors to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to collection protocols, including system-based allocations, timely tracking, and reporting of delayed cash deposits.
• Detect and report any fraudulent activities or deviations from standard collection processes.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Allocate delinquent accounts to collection agents/agencies and monitor their daily performance.
• Conduct regular field visits to support recovery efforts, address customer grievances, and resolve escalations.
• Ensure timely collections and, where necessary, execute repossession procedures within legal and ethical boundaries.
• Act as a key point of contact between the company and third-party collection agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Graduate (Any Discipline)
• Experience: 3 5 years of experience in collections and recovery management, preferably in NBFC/financial services sectors.

• Proficient in using integrated systems and tools for tracking and monitoring collections.
