Position Summary

Security Software Developer with emphasis on networks, web applications and penetration testing. You must be passionate about security and staying ahead of all possible threats to the system. You will be working with our development team to ensure that our network and technology stack is watertight. You will become thoroughly familiar with our architecture, helping to direct its development. You will provide regular reports of potential vulnerabilities and risk profiles. Good communication skills are critical to efficiently coordinate with our team and build a secure end product

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing advanced security techniques according to technical architecture
Performing regular security testing as well as code reviews for improving the software security
Troubleshooting and debugging issues as soon as they arise
Maintaining technical documentation related to software security
Providing engineering designs to mitigate security vulnerabilities in new software solutions
Ensuring software security at all levels of architecture
Staying updated with latest tools and advanced industry practices for software security
Actively liaise with the development team to ensure a secure coding practices, architecture and automated testing of all source code
Create secure software tools and systems with a team of developers
Take a lead in software design, implementation and testing
Facilitate meetings to define client needs
Participate in the lifecycle development of software systems
Design and build prototype solutions
Perform on-going security testing for software vulnerabilities
Research and identify flaws
Remedy development mistakes
Provide security consultation and risk assessments for new initiatives and projects
Monitor, track and document information security issues and threats to ensure prompt resolution and root cause analysis as needed
Participate in on-call support rotation for afterhours support coverage as needed

Education

BE, B tech, MCA, M Tech, MSC computer science graduate with good spoken English and communication skills
