Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior SaaS Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be instrumental in transitioning ZL Tech s flagship products to a highly scalable, reliable, and performant SaaS platform. You will design and develop cloud-native microservices and work collaboratively across global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with geographically distributed engineering teams to migrate and enhance applications into scalable, reliable, and high-performance SaaS architecture.
• Lead the transition from monolithic systems to microservices architecture ensuring modularity and scalability.
• Work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support scalable service integrations.
• Build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and related container technologies.
• Implement and improve DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable software delivery.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality code on schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience building large-scale distributed systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Proven experience in cloud-native application development, preferably on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong expertise in designing and building REST APIs for SaaS environments.
• Solid understanding of DevOps culture and practical experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices frameworks such as Spring Boot, Node.js, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of security best practices for SaaS applications and cloud infrastructure.
