Key Responsibilities Fire Suppression System Design Design and specify fire suppression systems, including: Wet-pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, deluge systems Fire pumps and storage tanks Knowledge of special fire protection systems, such as: Foam, spray, mist, clean agent, wet/dry chemical, and carbon dioxide systems (preferred) Perform hydraulic calculations and coordinate with external vendors for special hazard systems. Prepare technical data sheets and material requisitions. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (IS, NBC, NFPA, ISO, ASME). Establish water demand, sizing, and storage locations for process buildings. Select and size hot water systems, grease traps, and organic waste converters. Perform water distribution sizing (Cold & Hot Water) and space planning for water & sewage treatment plants. Create detailed drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and technical documentation.
