Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing email marketing campaigns across various customer lifecycles, including prospecting, win-back, nurturing, retention, and transactional emails. You will work closely with other teams to create impactful email campaigns, analyze performance data, and optimize strategies to maximize engagement and revenue generation. Key Responsibilities: Campaign Execution: Produce and execute all email and SMS campaigns, including creating emails from templates, HTML coding, copywriting, asset coordination, quality assurance, and scheduling. Lifecycle Management: Support various strategic programs through manual and triggered campaigns targeting different customer lifecycle stages, including prospecting, win-back, nurturing, post-purchase, loyalty, and retention. Segmentation & Personalization: Build effective target audiences and segments for each campaign, leveraging customer data (e.g., web behavior) to personalize messaging. A/B Testing & Optimization: Develop and execute A/B tests, including subject lines, message content, CTAs, customer cohorts, send times, and new features to optimize performance. Record results and recommend improvements based on testing outcomes. Collaboration: Work with designers and copywriters to optimize email creative and templates, ensuring best practices for engagement and performance. Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports on campaign performance, including opens, clicks, conversions, revenue, and unsubscribes, and recommend strategies for improvement. Rendering & Quality Assurance: Test emails across devices, email clients, and ISPs to ensure proper rendering and user experience for the majority of subscribers. Frequency Management: Mitigate email and SMS frequency to minimize churn while maintaining engagement and aligning with business priorities. Trend Analysis & Strategy: Stay updated on global email marketing best practices, trends, and tools to continually improve campaign effectiveness and customer acquisition, nurturing, and retention. New Technology & Tools: Look for innovative ways to improve email marketing programs, integrating new technologies, tools, and best practices. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience managing and executing successful email marketing programs. Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo). Strong understanding of email regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CASL). Experience with growing, engaging, and analyzing the performance of large email databases. Familiarity with building email marketing campaigns from scratch. Proficiency in Google Analytics, HTML/CSS, A/B testing, and other CMS platforms. Ability to use SQL or similar queries to analyze and report on data. Strong skills in data analytics to interpret data, suggest improvements, and optimize performance. Knowledge of SEO/SEM and how it integrates with email marketing. Excellent written communication and copywriting skills for creating compelling email content. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Experience with email creative, template creation, and testing.
