QA Automation Engineer Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Execution Write test scripts based on a comprehensive test plan covering all testing phases. Review test plans and test cases with the QA Lead and Business Analyst. Execute functional, integration, and regression test cases. Defect Management & UAT Support Identify, record, and track defects using industry-standard tools. Provide support and conduct retesting during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Stay updated with software quality assurance best practices and standards. Manual & Automation Testing Create manual test cases for new features. Design and develop test automation scripts using various frameworks. Identify and select test cases suitable for automation. Maintain and enhance the test automation environment and infrastructure.
