JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, record and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms. Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools. Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules. Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges. Convey effectively all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components. Coordinate with co-developers and keep project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and project manager. Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development. Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions. Should be able to write test cases in Laravel using any of the well-known libraries PHPUnit / PHP Spec. Familiar with Jira and other Project Management tools. Knowledge of CI/CD tools or DevOps will be a plus point. Knowledge of PostgreSQL will be a plus point. Familiar with AWS & Linux command line will be an added advantage.
