Assistant Manager Location: Bhuj, Gujarat, India Responsibilities Provide technical support to FQA for electrical packages of Solar Projects. Develop and strengthen SFQPs (Solar Project Quality Plans) based on lessons learned from previous projects for electrical packages of Solar Projects. Coordinate with contractors and project teams for timely completion of all QA & inspection activities. Review of MIS (Management Information System) for inspection management, approved SFQPs, and quality issues. Perform inspections as per the assigned inspection call on the proposed date for electrical packages of Solar Projects. Carry out construction/store audits as per the audit plan. Disposition of non-conformities during inspection of equipment for electrical packages. Ensure documents are uploaded in the common share folder on a real-time basis for QMS (Quality Management System) and CEIG (Central Electricity Authority, India Guidelines). Carry out failure analysis of electrical packages of renewable projects as required. Qualifications Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience. Experience: 6-10 years of experience in relevant field. Qualification : B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.

Responsibilities 1. Operation & Maintenance EHV substation equipment, GIS, power transformers, substation configurations, transmission lines, HT/LT switchgear, wind turbines, inverters. Hands-on working knowledge of electrical protection systems. 2. Diagnostic and RCA Diagnose equipment testing results, prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and provide coordination with Grid operators, OEMs, and breakdown support. 3. Electrical Testing and Monitoring Operate testing/measuring equipment to ensure the functionality of electrical equipment in solar and wind plants. 4. Substation Operations Understand GIS, substation equipment, transformers, switchgear, relays, and protection systems, with condition monitoring. Conduct daily monitoring of substation events, prepare reports, and support RCA and troubleshooting. 5. CRP Schemes and IEDs Hands-on experience with Control and Relay Panel (CRP) schemes, IED configuration, and wiring. Test and commission equipment, including GIS, transformers, and transmission lines. 6. Power System Studies Perform power system studies, including load flow, transient analysis, and protection for high-voltage systems above 220kV. 7. Maintenance and Troubleshooting Maintain power transformers, reactors, and protective relays. Collect data for occurrence analysis, support IMS reporting, and maintain databases. 8. Safety Compliance Observe and ensure safety protocols for activities in live switchyards. 9. Wind Team Support Provide support for major wind turbine breakdowns, including blades, stators, rotors, and gearboxes. Qualifications Experience: 15 20 years in EHV substation operations, GIS, transmission lines, wind turbines, solar power plants, and auxiliary systems. Proficiency in electrical equipment operation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance per SOPs and standards. Education: B.E. (Electrical Engineering) Other Requirements: Ability to analyze testing results and handle commissioning. Willingness to travel to site locations as required. Qualification : B.E. (Electrical) with 15 to 20 years of Experience, preferably in renewable technical support team Electrical / Mechanical profile.
